Kareena Kapoor invites Imran Khan to her Sasural‎

As we earlier reported that Karan Johar has roped in Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor for his upcoming bollywood film “Short Term Shaadi”, now the news is that shooting of “Short Term Shaadi” has indeed started.

Now being an Indian Film Actor, Imran Khan has been to various places in and outside India but he has never ever been to a small town near Delhi known as ‘Pataudi’ which also happens to be the ancestral home town of Saif Ali Khan.

Though Dharma Productions (Karan Johar) is famous for their lavish sets and taking the five star care of their stars, still Pataudi being a very small town Imran was a little apprehensive about staying in there in fact he also had plans of staying in Delhi and coming just for shooting to the place.

However to Imran’s rescue came Kareena, in Pataudi Saif Ali Khan’s family still own a big palatial home, and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (Saif’s father) and Sharmila Tagore stay there, so it was a no brainer that Kareena will be staying at Saif’s home and thus she invited Imran as well to the place so that he doesn’t face any problem.

Kareena Kapoor 30th Birthday on Sep 21 in Latvia

Kareena Kapoor will bring in her 30th birthday on Sep 21 in Latvia, where she is busy shooting for "Agent Vinod" with beau Saif Ali Khan.

Since "Agent Vinod" is Saif's home production, he and Kareena are planning to fly down to be with Kareena's mother (Babita) in Latvia for the birthday.

Her sister Karisma cannot join them because of her baby and Kareena expresses helplessness about her impossible schedules.

"What can I do? I barely have time to breathe. I've just come to Mumbai for two days. I've been away for 25 days. Now I fly off to Latvia for over a month's shooting," said Kareena.

Talking about her future, she said: "I'm now entering a new phase in my life and career. This year I hope to conquer many new peaks. By god's grace 'Agent Vinod' and 'Ra.One' are shaping up very well."

Kareena has also signed Madhur Bhandarkar's " Heroine ", but the film's shooting has been postponed. Confirming the news, she said: "Madhur is still working on the script. We start shooting the film when the script is ready in the next three months. Right now Madhur is busy with ' Dil To Bachcha Hai Jee '."

Kareena Kapoor In Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji

Madhur Bhandarkar was keen to sign Kareena Kapoor for his ambitious project and he did manage to get the star on board for Heroine, but of late things are not that smooth between the two and the film is taking more than expected time to roll.
Kareena has apparently said no to do five lovemaking scenes with five different heroes in the film. But, as a source tells a tabloid, this issue is not big as Kareena knows that the scenes will be shot aesthetically. Then why is the actress shying away from doing the scenes?
hear that Bebo has apprehensions about a part of the story that has her character in love with a top Bollywood hero who has two kids and is separated from his wife. Needless to say, it resembles Kareena’s own love story with beau Saif Ali Khan.
Bebo wants this track off from the script and has reportedly made her view explicit to director Madhur Bhandarkar through the film’s dialogue writer Niranjan Iyenger.
However, the film’s crew members are maintaining that the delay in starting Heroine is because of Madhur, who is very busy these days with his comedy film Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji, to release in January. Madhur and Kareena are going to meet soon and if the problems don’t get sorted out, then the movie might never roll, claim sources.

Kareena Kapoor & Shahid Kapoor in a comedy film?

It would be a casting coup of the most unexpected type. Remember how Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor avoided shooting together for the patch work of their much delayed and now flopped film Milenge Milenge?

It’s clear that the two ex lovers have been avoiding each other like swine flu. But now, if things go as planned director Siddharth Malhotra whose first film We Are Family opened at theatres this Thursday might bring the two exes together.

Siddharth had originally planned his second film with Kajol. But since the actress will be on a maternity break from work for about a year and a half, the director has penned another script, a father-daughter comedy.

Siddharth hopes to rope in Rishi Kapoor and his niece Kareena as father and daughter in the film. For the romantic angle (with Kareena obviously) the director might rope in Shahid who is his very good friend.

“I was the Associate Director of 'Vivah'. Shahid and I have been close since then. Now we're even closer. I really value his judgement,” Malhotra is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Malhtora added that he will approach Shahid for the role only after getting the script approved from Karan Johar whom he calls his ‘guru’.

Kareena Kapoor’s latest attempt at box office gold may be faltering if the first few reviews of “We Are Family” are any indication, which single her out as a yummy mummy with a penchant for theatrics.

The movie netted a tidy Rs27 million (Dh2.13m) on its opening day in India, but the film’s corresponding five-day receipts have dropped drastically according to industry reports.

Yet, the young actress remains unfazed by anything the media or the critics throw at her. After all, in a career spanning 10 years, Kapoor has heard it all.

The Bollywood diva, who tasted fame in the early years largely due to her family connections – the Kapoor name goes back four generations in the Indian film industry – and her off-screen antics, it has been refreshing to see her act for a change in the latter half of her career.

Today, the 29-year-old is considered a brand par excellence, with Indian glam rag Filmfare magazine rating Kapoor last month as the highest endorsement powerhouse to emerge from Bollywood, with a value rating of 10 on 10.
